HELImetrex Flight Operations Field is on a 100 hectare property outside Esk in Qld, about an hour East of Brisbane, the property is located in a quiet valley with undulating hills of mostly rural smallholdings and state forests.
HELImetrex Flight Operations Field is also approved by CASA for UAV flight operations out to 2nm radius from the property and up to 3000ft AMSL. (approx 2,500ft AGL)
When not in use by HELImetrex the Flight Operations Field is available for daily or weekly hire.
The site is ideal for market demonstrations of unmanned systems and sensors in the field for groups up to 100 people a day.
The facility is also suitable for small UAV, payload and sensor testing or training for flight teams of up to 6 people at a time, (including accommodation and meals)
All necessary field and ground-support equipment including power can also be provided if required.
